"iAppraise" is a professional jewelry application software designed for the iPad with retina display, running iOS 7.0 and later. It is a tool designed for gem and jewelry "Personnel, Jewelry Store Owners and/or Independent Appraisers or Auction House Appraisers" who are exposed to Sales, Valuation and eValuation of gem and jewelry items.

This tool is made available to everybody with an implicit assumption that one has proper understanding, training or education and a "Moral-Ethical" responsibility when authoring an Appraisal Report. This cannot be overemphasize specially when dealing with Market Value Assessments or any other assignments that may be use for legal purposes.

iAppraise users have Five (5) Interrelated Tasks available to them. From Gem Weight Estimation of Colored Gemstones and Diamonds to Referencing their optical and physical properties and referencing their weight in relation to their sizes.

Major tasks of generating an appraisal report could not be much easier!

Just enter clients personal information such as name, address...etc. and tap the "Save Client Info" button. User is now ready to provide details of the report.

With an efficient camera device and its impressive color rendition and details an iPad provides, user(s) can take photo of the appraised image, make edits, cropped and used that edited image for their report. Alternatively, user can also import taken and sent from another source.

Tapping each clients row will navigate you to file or files that a particular client has.

iAppraise has a series of drop down menus to choose from. These menus consists of commonly encountered to highly specialized Market Approach, Market Function and Methodologies required in generating professional documents. It even provides users of common selection needed to generate a pilot report descriptions like finger size, count, gender, jewelry type and manufacturing process.

iAppraise has three (3) gem related stone sections like Center Stone, Accent Stones and Melee Stones. These independent sections can be defined by their Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat Weight either individually, average or in ranges. These sections also calculates the currency amount automatically. Just enter, price per carat, its weight and appropriate markup and values are updated dynamically.

Actual jewelry mounting currency value also can be defined either as Custom Designed piece or by its manufacturers name.

Sales Tax or Value Added Tax (VAT) is definable as well. This is a requirement in some assignments like satisfying Insurance Coverage.

User(s) simply can enter all the needed variable details and leave it to iAppraise to automatically calculate the right currency amount.

iAppraise has three (3) ways to generate the output of your report. User can send it by Mail or Messaging. Print the report through Air Print and finally Create a PDF that can be Synced and Backed Up to your computer. User(s) needs to accessed these files through iTunes File Sharing feature.

iAppraise also saves all these details right in your iPad. However, user(s) must be aware that iAppraise uses a high resolution camera (iPad) and therefore must be consistent with backing up their data. When user(s) no longer feel the necessity of having a report or reports, user(s) can remove them from their iPad. Consistent House Upkeep is the key.
